I'm not as familiar with the work of Tangerine Dream as I should be, but the handful of soundtrack works of theirs which I've heard, among them those composed for 'Thief,' 'Legend' and 'Near Dark,' are fantastic, possessing that eerie atmosphere and prog-rock vibe I associate with their sound. Their score for 'Sorcerer,' a 1977 film as of yet unseen by me, is no exception, and I usually have this album playing at my desk while crunching numbers at work.
