Oh, what record collection of creepy music would be complete without The Vampires of Dartmoore's 'Dracula's Music Cabinet,' the 1969 psychedelic horror soundtrack for a movie which never existed? From what I gather, VoD were members of the Peter Thomas Sound Orchestra, and apparently this mysterious record remained in obscurity until it was finally unearthed and rereleased by Finders Keepers in 2009. Backstory aside, 'Dracula's Music Cabinet' is such a weird album, full of jazzy tounge-in-cheek lounge music accompanied by various groans and other bizarre sound effects. It's definitely not for everyone, but it'll appeal to darkly-inclined types who have a sense of humor, and it begs to be played in the background at a Halloween party.

My first choice to share off 'Dracula's Music Cabinet' was "Der Feuerdrachen Von Hong," but since it wasn't already available on YouTube I choose the following:

The Vampires of Dartmoore - Dr. Caligaris Gruselkabinett (1969)

Note: The entry for Day 1, which provided a brief introduction on this series, was posted this morning, though I appropriately back dated it for October 1st. You can view it here: http://againstathorn.livejournal.com/514943.html
