No excuses, this place is pretty damn awesome. I’m not a big cider drinker, but I was very impressed with not only their product but also the layout and feel of their establishment. Walk in and you’ll find yourself in a cozy interior that resembles a living room, complete with an old brick fireplace and an small piano, and you’ll turn to the right to find the bar, with revolver tap handles and a large shelf of growlers off to the side. The décor has a colonial theme, which is cute enough without seeming tacky. Either way, it seems to work quite well with the space.
Oh, and Arsenal doesn’t serve their cider by the pint—you purchase it by the growler, which you can either drink there or take home. Purchasing a brand new growler is $20, but you can bring it back for a $14 refill. Rani bought four, each filled with a different one of their ciders.
I’ll leave Rani to provide tasting notes, if she’s so inclined.
