The first one was taken with a strobe and turned out alright although there could be a little more detail in the shadows. Meh.
The second shot was of Rani's dresser. I found the shadows especially interesting. As a disclaimer, I draped around clothes and such to make it look messy. Rani is actually very tiddy and you'd never see her side of the bed in such a disorderly fashion.
The third and forth shots actually turned out great, though these proofs probably won't show all the detail captured within the shadows. I've always loved shooting intimate still lifes such as these. And yeah, lots of soft focus going on here. Of course.
The last shot of the paper cutter is a total dud. There were some interesting focal and perspective effects, but the background lighting is just blah.
